Are you a stats junkie? I have to admit I am just a little bit. I’m already on Klout and Kred and today I joined a new online platform that monitors social media influence called HireInfluence.
It took only a couple minutes to set up my profile. I activated it via Twitter and then once I was setting my profile I added my Facebook and LinkedIn information to further complete my profile. It shows a variety of metrics including for each of the three platforms and gives you a Strength Factor. This is a score based on real influence and the level of impact on each social channel as well as real work experience within specific industries.
They also said in their introduction email to me, that “An activated profile means that you are now listed in a database used by brands, marketing companies, PR firms and businesses looking for social media stars to work with.”
For Facebook, it pulled statistics from my profile and not my page. I’d be curious to see what my page influence is since I pretty much only use my profile for personal stuff. I rarely use LinkedIn though.
